CAPS 2024

In solidarity with the Students for Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) encampment and the striking Association of McGill Professors of Law (AMPL), both of whom are engaged in action against McGill University, CAPS has decided to hold its conference offsite at Concordia University on the 6th floor of the Pavillion J.W. McConnell (LB) Building (see map below). While our conference explores the wider Congress theme of Sustaining Shared Futures, we do so with the critical outlook our field demands, conscious that our conference occurs at a time when powerful institutions are dismantling the possibility of a livable future for many.

Our final program is available below with more information on the specific location and we will update you by the weekend with further details about the conference.

At this time, we are allowing people to present virtually if needed. Please get in touch with Jesse Arseneault (jesse.arseneault@concordia.ca) as soon as possible if this is an option you would like to pursue, or if you have any questions about the conference.

Please download the most recent program here and notify us if you have any requests. Please also note that, given the difficulty of last-minute planning, we will be updating our program this weekend.
